HTML5 Is Changing How Web Functions

Web designing has come of the age since the advent of HTML5. HTML5 is not just an upgraded version of the traditional HTML.  This is actually a very revamped version of HTML. For a starter, it has reduced the dependency on several other technologies, most notably CSS. This means many designing features, for which CSS functions were to be called can now be implemented using HTML functions directly.

One big advantage is how HTML5 can play audio and video by itself which means the days of the old and buggy Flash is almost gone. If you remember, Apple ditched Flash long ago, Microsoft also chipped in with Silverlight and now, modern browsers like Firefox allows you to play videos on the browser using inbuilt HTML5 functions. YouTube is also offering videos in HTML5 format. Some very rarely used functions of HTML has been deprecated to keep the things light.

You can see this change reflecting in the web designing field as well. Almost all the agencies offering web design in Essex are offering HTML5 based websites to their clients. Apart from the less dependency on CSS, which means they can troubleshoot more easily, they can now deliver responsive websites more easily. Now, responsive websites are here to stay because the number of mobile devices which are being used to access the internet is growing faster than expected. They need to cater to this mobile crowd and the easiest way is, again, HTML5.
