Two Major Sections of SEO

SEO stands for search engine optimisation and it leads to better online presence. In other words, it improves the ranking of a website on the search result page so that when people are searching for something which the website offers, they find it via online search and can become a buyer, client or subscriber. SEO can be categories into two major sections, paid and unpaid or free and most of the agencies providing SEO in Essex offers both services.

Free or unpaid SEO is often called SEO, natural SEO or organic SEO. If you inspect a search result page for any query, you will see multiple entries at the top of the page which has a small 'ad’ marking on them. After that, there are approximately 10 results which don't have that marking. These are the organic result. The aim of organic SEO is the get the website included among these 10 results.

Other unpaid digital marketing channels might be unpaid social media promotion and email marketing. Video marketing, unpaid inbound content marketing and online reputation management are some of the more niche unpaid SEO techniques.

Among the paid SEO, there are majorly two segments, the search engine paid promotion and social media paid promotion. The 2-4 search results at the top of the page which has the ‘ad’ marking, are actually paid results. Companies need to pay for these slots and judging on many aspects, a few are displayed for the search phrase. On social media, certain posts are promoted and sent to millions of users in the paid promotion.
