The PPC Industry is Changing Fast

PPC is changing rapidly. The techniques and the display preference form Google, both are changing and the experts must keep up with the pace to keep their PPC campaigns relevant. We shall discuss the few recent changes in PPC in this blog.

Firstly, PPC now offers remarketing. Remarketing means getting lost customers back. On a slightly elaborate note, if a customer slips away before completing the purchase process on your website, Google will mark that client and whenever he visits a website where Google can display ads, Google will show your ads to him. You are free to tell Google how to select these customers. You can tell Google for how long to show the ad before giving up. Not every PPC agency in Essex can offer perfectly optimised Remarketing solution because it takes a deeper understanding of Google Adwords.

Secondly, you might have noticed, you don't see the results, the paid results, on the right hand side of the search result page, not anymore. Google has changed policy and now, all the ads are displayed right at the top and some at the bottom. This means, the ranking of your ad is now directly related to your rank. The side ads didn't work well anyway and many advertisers preferred a bottom placement than a side placement.

Finally, the ratio of the organic versus paid results are changing. There are search queries where Google displayed as low as 7 organic entries and the remaining page was filled with paid entries.
