Spot The Good SEO Companies Easily

SEO stands for search engine optimisation and when it is properly done, it allows the website to show up on the first page of a search engine result page when someone searches for a product, service or even information which the website carries. The idea is to make people aware of a website which sells something which the searcher is looking for, without naming any particular company. This searcher would then get a lot of websites who offer what he is looking for. There are so many methods and tricks of SEO but some of those are highly recommended by Google. These techniques are called white hat SEO. These techniques are for your website to rank higher on a Google when people look for something which is related to your site.

Many a times a company hands over the SEO duties to another agency or SEO company. However, there are some shady SEO players who would take these inexperienced clients, especially the small and new businesses, for a very expensive ride. How do you then spot a company who provides SEO in Essex because on the surface they all look alike.

Sometimes these SEO companies, the good ones and the bad or the fake ones, try to opt for email marketing where they send you emails containing special offers regarding their SEO packages. You should ignore such emails once you receive those because if they are so good in SEO, why wouldn't they rely on the client finding them on Google search engine result page while looking for SEO agencies and why would they need to resort to spamming the mailbox of the client! This obviously means that their own websites don't perform very well on google and thus, they can't get you the ranking they promise on those emails. The same is true if they are advertising their services via the paid model. They might be good for pay per click campaign though, even though they are not there for the SEO.

You should also completely avoid SEO agencies who come up with offers like top positions for certain number of keywords. All the modern search engine result pages offer personalised search results which means the search result is different for different persons. There is no absolute ranking and thus, this is a completely misleading statement. Google takes multiple things into account before showing the search result to any searcher.
